Management of Difficult Intubation

Abstract
|
|
|
The authors were experienced two cases of anticipated difficult intubation.
Case 1, a 43-year old female patients suffering from the late result of burn o whole face had a contracture limiting mouth opening to a maximum 2 m between the incisors. We cared successfully with laryngeal mask airway.
Case 2, 72-year-old female patients with thyroid papillary cancer wit invasion to trachea and marked tracheal deviation ot left side. We tried orotracheal and nasotracheal intubation,. Retrograde cannulution via cricothyroid membrane but it was
failed.
Lastly tracheostomy was done.
